Commands Overview
Thrella provides a set of slash commands for server moderation. All commands are registered as Discord slash commands and are accessible through the / menu in any channel where the bot is present.

Context Menu Commands
In addition to slash commands, Thrella provides context menu commands accessible by right-clicking (or long-pressing) a user in Discord:
| Command | Description | Required Permission |
|---|---|---|
| Block PFP | Block the target user's profile picture | Manage Server |
Context menu commands appear under the Apps submenu when right-clicking a user.
PFP commands (/pfp-block, /pfp-unblock, and "Block PFP") are feature-gated and only appear in servers where the PFP filter is enabled. If you don't see them in the command menu, enable the PFP filter on the Dashboard > Security page.
Who Can Run Commands
By default, the Required Permission shown above is the Discord permission a member needs to run each command. Server owners can switch to dashboard-managed access with Moderator Permissions, which lets you grant specific roles or users access to specific commands -- optionally limited to certain channels or for a limited time -- instead of relying on Discord's permissions.
Common Features
Preset Reasons with Autocomplete
All moderation commands that accept a reason option support autocomplete with preset reasons. As you type, the bot suggests matching presets that have been configured for your server through the dashboard. Presets are filtered by action type, so /ban only shows ban-related presets, /kick shows kick presets, and so on.
Preset reasons save time and ensure consistency across your moderation team. You can configure presets in the dashboard under Moderation > Preset Reasons.
Case Tracking
Every moderation action (/ban, /kick, /timeout, /warn, /unban) automatically creates a case record. Cases are numbered sequentially per server and include the target user, moderator, action type, reason, timestamp, and any attached evidence. Cases can be reviewed through the /case command or the dashboard Cases section.
Evidence Attachments
The /ban, /kick, /timeout, and /warn commands support an optional evidence parameter that accepts a screenshot or file attachment. Evidence is stored with the case record and displayed when viewing case details.
Mod Log
When a mod log channel is configured in the dashboard, all moderation actions are automatically posted there with a formatted embed showing the full action details.
Ephemeral Responses
All moderation command responses are ephemeral - only visible to the moderator who ran the command. Other server members do not see the bot's confirmation message. This keeps command usage discreet and avoids cluttering the channel.
